This clip shows the third generation KITTY (Keyboard-Independent Touch-Typing) system. Although originally intended for use with head-mounted displays in wearable computing systems; today's applications of the KITTY system remain limited to niche markets such as: 1) in speech-synthesized communication devices for speech-impaired allowing a more natural interaction with others and 2) in game-based touch-typing tutors allowing beginners to learn touch-typing without being confined to a desk. Reduced-functionality KITTY-like systems have found applications as ergonomic minimally-invasive electronic controllers/devices in the active-wear industry
